Above Right: The battle degenerates into a stalemate as muskets become fouled and men exhausted. Both sides pull back.
Below: The morning after, and the suvivors once again form up. Jokes are cracked as the soldiers are relived to still be in one piece. This time thankfully, they aren’t facing the enemy, but the camera. |
